DaWetRest is organised in 7 harmonised work packages, including the assessment, preparation, implementation, and upscaling phases of the DaWetRest demonstrators.
The aim of this work package is to oversee the project and guarantee the achievement of its objectives by efficiently managing project activities, ensuring solid contractual, financial, and administrative execution, and monitoring the quality control process. In addiction, it also aims to create a smooth exchange of information between internal and external stakeholders, as well as choose and integrate the Associated Regions.
Our aim in this work package is to establish trust in the impact of the project, uphold data precision, comply with Mission Objectives, and encourage replication of best practices. To attain this, we will conduct actions such as identifying stakeholders, develop a baseline and impact assessment, and creating a community of practice with shared interests and expertise.
The aim of this work package is to provide necessary tools for carrying out project implementation activities (restoration, scale-up, dissemination), as well as a central data storage point for restoration activities and monitoring. Additionally, this platform shares biodiversity and restoration information, and provides data analysis for businesses to develop their models and keep the
local communities engaged with our activities.
In this work package, we will create a joint strategy to bring together activities across all demonstration sites, and evaluate the ecological, water-related and socio-economic condition of DaWetRest. The main aim is to make sure that the project has a long-lasting effect and is sustainable, covering scientific, social, and economic aspects. Also, to establish the foundation for the effective implementation of creative solutions by the three demonstrators.
This work package will investigate associated tasks connected to testing and piloting. It will establish a cohesive plan that incorporates actions throughout all demonstration sites. Furthermore, we will carry out restoration work at these sites, and strive to boost the population of susceptible water birds in the Danube and its surrounding channels.
This work package will investigate possible ways to replicate creative ideas, such as citizen science tools and business plans. Moreover, we will merge and examine climate-related tools whilst evaluating the carbon capacity of wetlands. Our job will involve a detailed study of critical feasible outcomes to guarantee that we employ them successfully. The primary objective is to optimise the potential of our cutting-edge solutions.
This work package aims to enhance communication and outreach for the project with the goal of linking diverse stakeholders, such as the general public, experts, and the media, by utilising effective communication and dissemination strategies. The plan is for all operations to benefit from enablers and multipliers to improve reach, which will result in innovative tools for knowledge integration and the creation of a supportive network.
