DaWetRest – Selection of Associated Regions  

The DaWetRest project, recently concluded an open call for local and regional authorities to apply for the status of Associated Regions. The call, which ran from January to the end of April, aimed to integrate other regions into the project’s activities, thereby demonstrating the feasibility, replicability, and scalability of DaWetRest innovative solutions. 

By becoming an Associated Region, selected authorities gain direct access to a wealth of expertise, knowledge, and tools provided by the DaWetRest partners. Additionally, these regions will receive detailed insights into the ongoing Demonstrator activities, empowering them to develop their own tailored replication roadmaps for restoring their local freshwater ecosystems. 

With the selection process for the open call nearly complete, DaWetRest partners are excited to soon announce the results and welcome the new Associated Regions into the project. This collaboration is expected to significantly benefit the chosen regions, leveraging DaWetRest’s resources and support to foster a wide network of wetland restoration actors across Europe.
