COP28 – United Nations Climate Change Conference

The DaWetRest project had the pleasure to be represented at the COP28, United Nations Climate Change Conference, by one of our partners GEOSTUD, positioning the DaWetRest project at the forefront of global climate action. Held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2023, the conference brought together 197 countries to address the urgent challenge of climate change.

GEOSTUD’s Innovation Zone stand became the epicenter for showcasing the DaWetRest project. Led by Petru Nicolae (CEO), the team, including Vlad Sandu, Raluca Nicolae, Delia Dimitriu, and Ionela Ion, actively engaged visitors with informative materials, a video presentation, and one-on-one discussions. The project’s objectives and successes were spotlighted, drawing attention from environmental experts, policymakers, and researchers worldwide.

Beyond DaWetRest, the GEOSTUD delegation played an important role in disseminating Mission Ocean’s objectives. The five-day engagement also provided meaningful collaborations with delegates from potential Associated Regions, solidifying GEOSTUD’s dedication for climate action.

Stay tuned for more updates on the DaWetRest project as we continue with our effort for a sustainable and resilient future!
