Stakeholder’s meeting for community involvement
The University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” and the Regional Environment and Water Inspection of Ruse are inviting regional stakeholders on the 25th of April to increase the awareness in the local communities on the DaWetRest project and the Mission Ocean and Waters as a whole.
The workshops aim to find synergies and to increase the involvement of local stakeholders and communities.
Among the stakeholders are representatives of regional administrations and municipalities, representatives of organizations and institutions whose activities are connected with wetland restoration and conservation, as well as representatives of the academic community.
The Climate, Atmosphere and Water Research Institute at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Association of Danube River Municipalities “Danube” will present the objectives and expected outcomes of DaWetRest, along with the other Lower Danube partners of DaWetRest, as well as the company SCORTEL OOD. A focus will be on the activities in the Lower Danube Demo and challenges to be met, which will be discussed with the stakeholders.
Potential involvement of the stakeholders in the project will be elaborated, such as their interest and aspirations to join the DaWetRest Community of Practice.
